Growing up, my family always enjoyed a warm bowl of ramen on chilly evenings. Today, I’m sharing my twist on this classic dish with a spicy peanut butter sauce that adds a unique and flavorful kick. It’s the perfect comforting meal for a cozy night in.

Ingredients:

  • ramen noodles (200g)
  • peanut butter (50g)
  • soy sauce (30ml)
  • sriracha (15ml)
  • chicken broth (400ml)
  • garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • ginger (1 tsp, grated)
  • green onions (2, chopped)
  • hard-boiled egg (1, halved)

  • cutting board

To start, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions and set aside. In a saucepan, combine the peanut butter, soy sauce, sriracha, chicken broth, garlic, and ginger. Heat the sauce over medium heat, stirring constantly until the peanut butter has melted and the sauce is smooth.

Once the sauce is ready, divide the cooked noodles into bowls and ladle the hot peanut butter sauce over the noodles. Top with chopped green onions and a halved hard-boiled egg. Feel free to customize with additional toppings like sliced bell peppers or tofu for added texture and flavor.
