As the weather shifts towards cooler temperatures, I find myself craving hearty dishes with a touch of freshness. Today, I’m excited to share a recipe that combines the warmth of a comforting pasta dish with the lightness of flavors reminiscent of a day by the seaside. This Seaside Pasta is a unique fusion of land and sea ingredients that will transport you to a coastal retreat with every bite.

Ingredients:

  • linguine (200g)
  • clams (150g)
  • chorizo sausage (100g)
  • cherry tomatoes (100g)
  • garlic cloves (2)
  • white wine (50ml)
  • olive oil (30ml)
  • fresh parsley (a handful)
  • salt
  • black pepper

  • chef’s knife

I start by boiling a pot of salted water for the linguine and cooking it until al dente. In a skillet, I heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. I add thinly sliced chorizo sausage and cook until it starts to brown. Next, I throw in halved cherry tomatoes and clams, then deglaze the skillet with white wine. I cover the skillet and let it simmer until the clams open up. Once cooked, I toss the pasta in the flavorful sauce, season with salt and black pepper, and finish with fresh parsley.

The Seaside Pasta is a delightful dish that weighs approximately 650g after cooking. It serves 2–3 people, with each serving weighing around 216g. This indulgent yet fresh pasta dish is estimated to be around 400 calories per serving.
