Cozy Spicy Ramen Recipe

Spicy Miso Ramen

Today, I’m excited to share a recipe that’s perfect for cozy nights at home. This Spicy Miso Ramen is a comforting and flavorful dish that will warm you up from the inside out.

Ingredients:

  • 200g Ramen noodles
  • 50g Miso paste
  • 800ml Chicken broth
  • 100g Shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 stalks of green onions, chopped
  • 2 soft-boiled eggs, halved
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 100g tofu, cubed
  • 2 nori sheets, torn into small pieces

Kitchen Tools:

  • Pot
  • Skillet
  • Chopping board
  • Knife
  • Ladle

Start by boiling the Ramen noodles according to package instructions. In a separate pot, heat the chicken broth over medium heat. Once the broth is simmering, add in the miso paste and stir until it has dissolved completely.

In a skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until lightly browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Add the sliced shiitake mushrooms to the broth and let them simmer for a few minutes until they are tender. Then, add the cooked Ramen noodles to the broth and stir to combine.

To serve, ladle the spicy miso ramen into bowls. Top with the tofu, green onions, soft-boiled eggs, torn nori sheets, and a drizzle of Sriracha for an extra kick.

This Spicy Miso Ramen weighs approximately 1200g in total, serves 4, with each serving weighing around 300g. Each serving is estimated to be around 350 calories.

A clever tip for this recipe is to add a dollop of chili garlic paste for an extra layer of heat and flavor. It’s a small addition that really elevates the dish!
