Hello, foodies! Today, I’m excited to share a fun and flavorful recipe that’s perfect for a cozy night in or a casual gathering with friends. This dish brings together the sweetness of pineapple with a spicy kick, creating a mouthwatering combination that will surely impress your guests. Let’s dive into making these delicious Spicy Pineapple Meatballs!

Ingredients:

  • 450g ground beef
  • 50g bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 200g pineapple chunks
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Kitchen Tools:

  • mixing bowl
  • baking sheet
  • skillet
  • spatula

To start, preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix everything together until well combined, then form the mixture into bite-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake the meatballs in the oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.

While the meatballs are baking, prepare the spicy pineapple sauce. In a skillet over medium heat, combine the soy sauce, pineapple chunks, brown sugar, and sriracha. Cook until the pineapple starts to break down and the sauce thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes. Add the baked meatballs to the skillet and toss to coat them in the sauce.

Serve the Spicy Pineapple Meatballs garnished with sliced green onions for a pop of freshness. The combination of sweet pineapple and spicy sauce with the hearty meatballs is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
