Today, I’m excited to share a unique and tasty dish that has been a favorite in my family for special occasions. With a perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors, this dish is sure to impress your guests or treat yourself to something delicious.

Ingredients:

  • boneless chicken thighs (500g)
  • fresh figs (250g)
  • balsamic vinegar (50ml)
  • honey (30ml)
  • rosemary (15g)
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

  • mixing bowl
  • knife
  • cutting board

Start by preheating your oven to 200°C. In a mixing bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, honey, chopped rosemary, and a drizzle of olive oil. Season the boneless chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then marinate them in the balsamic mixture for about 15 minutes.

While the chicken is marinating, wash and quarter the fresh figs. Place the marinated chicken thighs in a baking dish and arrange the fig quarters around them. Drizzle any remaining marinade over the chicken and figs.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the figs are caramelized. The aroma of the balsamic vinegar and rosemary will fill your kitchen and signal that your dish is ready to be enjoyed.

Once out of the oven, let the chicken and figs rest for a few minutes before serving. The combination of the tender chicken, sweet figs, and tangy balsamic glaze is truly a delightful experience for your taste buds.
