Today’s Creation: Pesto Stuffed Chicken Breast

Hello friends! Today, I’m excited to share with you my latest culinary creation: Pesto Stuffed Chicken Breast. This dish combines the savory goodness of tender chicken with the vibrant flavors of homemade pesto. It’s perfect for a cozy night in or for impressing your dinner guests with a unique and delicious meal.

Ingredients:

  • chicken breasts
  • fresh basil leaves
  • pine nuts
  • garlic
  • parmesan cheese
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Kitchen Tools:

  • food processor
  • oven
  • frying pan

To start, preheat your oven to 200°C. In a food processor, combine the fresh basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic, parmesan cheese, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Blend until you have a smooth pesto mixture.

Next, take your chicken breasts and carefully make a slit along the side to create a pocket. Stuff each chicken breast with a generous amount of the pesto mixture, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.

Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat and sear the stuffed chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

Once done, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve the pesto stuffed chicken breast with your favorite side dishes and enjoy the explosion of flavors with every bite.
