The combination of spicy, tangy pineapple with savory pork is a flavor explosion that will surely warm you up on a chilly evening. Join me as I walk you through the steps to create this fiery pineapple pork stir-fry!

Ingredients:

  • 250g pork shoulder, cubed
  • 200g pineapple chunks
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Kitchen Tools:

  • chef’s knife
  • cutting board
  • garlic press
  • grater

Start by heating vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add the cubed pork shoulder and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove the pork from the wok and set aside.

In the same wok, add the sliced red bell pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened. Add in the garlic, ginger, and green onions, and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Return the cooked pork to the wok, and add in the pineapple chunks. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sriracha sauce. Pour the sauce over the pork and pineapple mixture, tossing to coat evenly.

Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Serve the fiery pineapple pork stir-fry over steamed rice or noodles.
