Welcome to My Kitchen: Today’s Unique Creation

Hey there, foodies! Today, I’m excited to share a new recipe that I just whipped up in my kitchen. As the weather starts to cool down and the leaves begin to change, I was inspired to create a dish that celebrates the flavors of autumn in a unique and unexpected way. So, without further ado, let me introduce you to my Apple Cider Pulled Pork Tacos!

For this recipe, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • pork shoulder (800g)
  • apple cider (250ml)
  • apple cider vinegar (50ml)
  • brown sugar (50g)
  • cinnamon (1 tsp)
  • cloves (1/2 tsp)
  • garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • onion (1, chopped)
  • tortillas
  • sour cream
  • shredded cheese
  • cilantro (for garnish)

And here are the kitchen tools you’ll need:

  • slow cooker
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons

To start, place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker and pour in the apple cider, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, minced garlic, and chopped onion. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, until the pork is tender and shreds easily with a fork.

Once the pork is ready, shred it using two forks and mix it well with the cooking liquid to soak up all those delicious flavors. Warm the tortillas and fill them with the pulled pork mixture. Top with a dollop of sour cream, shredded cheese, and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro for a burst of freshness.

This dish weighs approximately 1200g once cooked and serves 4 people with an average serving weight of 300g. Each serving is estimated to be around 450 calories.

A unique tip for this recipe is to add a splash of apple cider to the pulled pork mixture right before serving. This will enhance the apple flavor and give the dish a refreshing kick that’ll keep you coming back for more.

I hope you enjoy making these Apple Cider Pulled Pork Tacos as much as I did. Feel free to get creative and make adjustments to suit your taste buds. Happy cooking!
