Hey there, foodies! Today, I am excited to share with you my latest creation: an Avocado Lime Tart. The tangy lime paired with the creamy avocado creates a deliciously unique dessert that is perfect for a summer treat. I love experimenting with unusual flavor combinations, and this tart is a great example of that. Let’s get started!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados (about 400g)
  • 3 limes, juiced and zested
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • 100g maple syrup
  • 150g coconut flour
  • 50g melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • a pinch of salt

Kitchen Tools:

  • mixing bowl
  • food processor
  • tart pan
  • citrus juicer

To start, preheat your oven to 180°C. In a food processor, blend together the avocados, lime juice, lime zest, coconut milk, maple syrup, coconut flour, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth. Pour the mixture into a tart pan lined with parchment paper and press it down evenly.

Bake the tart in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before slicing and serving. The avocado lime tart should have a creamy texture with a zesty lime flavor that is truly refreshing.

Tip:

For an extra zing, try adding a sprinkle of lime zest on top of the tart before serving. This will enhance the citrusy flavor and add a pop of color to your dessert.
