Trying Something New: Healthy Dessert Creation

Today, I’m excited to share a brand-new healthy dessert recipe that I recently came up with. It’s a perfect treat for any time of the year, with a unique combination of flavors and textures that will surely surprise your taste buds.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado (150g)
  • 2 tbsp matcha powder (10g)
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk (60ml)
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds (20g)
  • 2 tbsp honey (30g)
  • 2 tbsp cacao nibs (20g)

Kitchen Tools:

  • blender
  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • ramekins

I start by scooping out the ripe avocado into a blender. Next, I add in the matcha powder, coconut milk, chia seeds, and honey. I blend everything together until smooth and creamy. In a mixing bowl, I combine the blended mixture with the cacao nibs, gently folding them in.

Then, I divide the mixture into individual ramekins and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the chia seeds to thicken the dessert. Once ready, I garnish with a sprinkle of matcha powder on top for a pop of color.

The total weight of the cooked dish is approximately 320g, with 4 servings. Each serving weighs about 80g, and it’s estimated to have around 150 calories per serving.

One unique tip for this recipe is to sprinkle a bit of sea salt on top before serving. The hint of saltiness enhances the flavors of the avocado and matcha, creating a truly gourmet experience.
