I’m excited to share this unique, creamy and nutritious dessert with you today. This blueberry avocado mousse is not only delicious but also packed with healthy fats and antioxidants. It’s the perfect guilt-free treat for any time of the year.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados (about 400g)
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries (150g)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (120g)
  • 3 tablespoons honey (45g)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (30ml)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (15g)

Kitchen Tools:

  • spatula
  • measuring cups and spoons

To make this delicious blueberry avocado mousse, start by scooping out the flesh of the ripe avocados and placing it in a blender. Add the fresh blueberries, Greek yogurt, honey, lemon juice, and vanilla extract to the blender. Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy.

Once the mixture is smooth, transfer it to a mixing bowl. Stir in the chia seeds for added texture and nutritional boost. Divide the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow it to set.

The approximate total weight of the cooked dish is 795g, which will yield about 4 servings. Each serving weighs around 200g, and is approximately 220 calories.

One clever tip for this recipe is to sprinkle some extra chia seeds on top of the mousse before serving for a beautiful presentation and an extra crunch.
