Crispy Kale Chips with Turmeric Tahini Dip

Hey there, foodies! Today I’m excited to share one of my favorite snacks that always brings a pop of flavor to any gathering: Crispy Kale Chips with Turmeric Tahini Dip. Whether you’re looking for a healthy snack option or a unique addition to your appetizer spread, these kale chips are sure to be a hit.

Ingredients:

  • 200g kale leaves
  • 15ml olive oil
  • 5g sea salt
  • 30g tahini
  • 10ml lemon juice
  • 5g turmeric powder
  • 3g garlic powder
  • 30ml water

Kitchen Tools:

  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • mixing bowl
  • whisk

Preparation:

Start by preheating your oven to 150°C and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. Wash and dry the kale leaves thoroughly, then tear them into bite-sized pieces. In a mixing bowl, toss the kale with olive oil and sea salt until each piece is evenly coated. Spread the kale out on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the kale chips are crispy but not burnt.

While the kale chips are baking, prepare the turmeric tahini dip. In a small bowl, whisk together tahini, lemon juice, turmeric powder, garlic powder, and water until smooth and creamy. Adjust the consistency by adding more water if necessary.

Serving:

Once the kale chips are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve the crispy kale chips alongside the turmeric tahini dip for a vibrant and nutritious snack or appetizer that will wow your guests.
