Today, I am excited to share with you a decadent dessert that combines two classic treats into one mouthwatering creation — the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownie Torte. This indulgent dessert is perfect for special occasions or when you’re craving something sweet and satisfying.

For this recipe, you will need the following ingredients:

  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • 8-inch round cake pan
  • parchment paper
  • oven

Ingredients:
– 200g dark chocolate, chopped
– 150g unsalted butter
– 200g granulated sugar
– 3 eggs
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 100g all-purpose flour
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 100g chocolate chips

To begin, preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line an 8-inch round cake pan with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, combine the dark chocolate and butter. Melt the mixture in the microwave or over a double boiler until smooth.

Next, whisk in the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined. Stir in the flour and salt until just incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips to create a thick brownie batter. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it out evenly.

In a separate mixing bowl, prepare the cookie dough layer using the following ingredients:
– 100g unsalted butter, softened
– 100g light brown sugar
– 50g granulated sugar
– 2 tbsp milk
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 150g all-purpose flour
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 100g chocolate chips

Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the milk and vanilla extract. Gradually add the flour and salt, stirring until a cookie dough consistency forms. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough over the brownie batter in the cake pan. Gently spread the dough out to cover the brownie layer completely. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly gooey.

Once baked, remove the torte from the oven and let it cool in the pan. Once cooled, slice into wedges and serve. Each serving weighs approximately 150g and has around 400 calories.

One unique tip for this recipe is to chill the torte in the refrigerator before slicing and serving. This will allow the layers to set and make for easier cutting.

I hope you enjoy making and indulging in this Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownie Torte. Feel free to get creative with the ingredients and make it your own!
