Deliciously Chocolaty Banana Bread

Today, I’m excited to share a recipe for a decadent twist on a classic banana bread. This indulgent chocolaty version is perfect for satisfying those sweet cravings or impressing your guests with a unique treat.

Ingredients:

  • 2 large ripe bananas (approx. 300g)
  • 1 1/2 cups (180g)
  • 1/2 cup (50g)
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/2 cup (115g)
  • 3/4 cup (150g)
  • 1 tsp
  • 1
  • 1/2 cup (90g)

Kitchen Tools:

  • mixing bowl

  • spatula
  • loaf pan

Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (180°C) and greasing a loaf pan. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and egg. Mix until well combined. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. Gently fold in the chopped dark chocolate. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
