  • macaroni (200g)
  • Gruyere cheese (150g)
  • Fontina cheese (150g)
  • whole milk (500ml)
  • butter (50g)
  • truffle oil (1 tbsp)
  • all-purpose flour (25g)
  • bacon strips (150g)
  • bread crumbs (50g)
  • salt and pepper to taste

In terms of kitchen tools, you’ll need:

  • saucepan
  • whisk
  • baking dish
  • skillet

Start by preheating your oven to 180°C. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk constantly for 2 minutes to make a roux.
