Ingredients:

  • quinoa (200g)
  • ripe pear, peeled and diced (1 medium)
  • coconut milk (400ml)
  • maple syrup (50ml)
  • ground cinnamon (1 tsp)
  • ground nutmeg (1/2 tsp)
  • vanilla extract (1 tsp)
  • salt (1/4 tsp)

Kitchen Tools:

  • saucepan
  • wooden spoon
  • measuring cups
  • knife

To start, rinse the quinoa under cold water to remove any bitterness. In a saucepan, combine the quinoa, diced pear, coconut milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir well to mix everything together.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the quinoa is cooked and the mixture has thickened into a pudding-like consistency. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
