Crispy Macadamia-Crusted Salmon

Today, I’m sharing a unique and flavorful recipe for Crispy Macadamia-Crusted Salmon. This dish combines the richness of salmon with the crunch of macadamia nuts for a delicious and satisfying meal that is perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • salmon fillets (150g each)
  • macadamia nuts (50g)
  • breadcrumbs (30g)
  • lemon zest
  • fresh parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil

Kitchen Tools:

  • food processor
  • baking sheet
  • frying pan

Start by preheating your oven to 200°C. In a food processor, pulse the macadamia nuts until they are finely chopped. Add the breadcrumbs, lemon zest, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper, and pulse until combined.

Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then press the macadamia mixture onto the tops of each fillet, creating a thick crust. In a frying pan, heat some olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets, crust side down, and sear for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

Transfer the salmon fillets to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the crust is crispy.
