Unique Dessert Recipe: Spiced Mango Tiramisu

Today, I’m excited to share a delightful dessert recipe that combines the classic flavors of tiramisu with a tropical twist. This Spiced Mango Tiramisu is perfect for a summer gathering or special occasion, adding a unique and exotic flair to the traditional Italian dessert.

For this recipe, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 150g ladyfinger biscuits
  • 200g mango puree
  • 250g mascarpone cheese
  • 150ml whipping cream
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 50ml dark rum

To prepare this unique dessert, you will need the following kitchen tools:

  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • spatula
  • saucepan
  • ramekins

Start by whisking together the mascarpone cheese, mango puree, brown sugar, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until well combined. In a separate bowl, whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mango mixture until smooth and creamy.

Next, pour the dark rum into a shallow dish. Quickly dip each ladyfinger biscuit into the rum, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy. Place a layer of soaked biscuits at the bottom of each ramekin.

Spread a generous layer of the mango cream mixture over the biscuits. Repeat the layers of soaked biscuits and mango cream until the ramekins are filled to the top. Cover the ramekins with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.

Once chilled, remove the plastic wrap and sprinkle a dash of cinnamon powder on top of each tiramisu for an extra burst of flavor. Serve the Spiced Mango Tiramisu chilled and enjoy the fusion of tropical mango with the rich, creamy tiramisu layers.

This Spiced Mango Tiramisu weighs approximately 750g in total and serves 6. Each serving is around 125g. A serving of this dessert is estimated to be around 320 calories.

One clever tip for this recipe is to sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over each layer of mango cream to enhance the sweetness and add a subtle contrast of flavors to the dessert.

I hope you give this Spiced Mango Tiramisu a try and make it your own with different spices or fruit variations. It’s a unique twist on a classic dessert that is sure to impress your guests and leave them craving more. Enjoy!
