Today, I am excited to share with you a unique and flavorful dish that is perfect for a cozy night in or a special gathering with friends. This dish combines unexpected ingredients to create a symphony of flavors that will leave you wanting more.

Ingredients:

  • medium mixing bowl
  • skillet

For this dish, you will need:
– 250g squid ink pasta
– 150g smoked salmon
– 1 avocado, diced
– 1 lemon, juiced
– 2 tablespoons capers
– 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
– Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

Start by boiling a pot of water and cooking the squid ink pasta according to the package instructions. While the pasta is cooking, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the smoked salmon, breaking it up into smaller pieces as it cooks.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the diced avocado, lemon juice, capers, and fresh dill. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the skillet with the salmon, mixing everything together.

Serving:

To serve, place a generous scoop of the avocado mixture on top of the pasta and salmon. Garnish with extra dill and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for an added burst of freshness.

Tips:

For an extra kick of flavor, try adding a sprinkle of red pepper flakes or a drizzle of olive oil before serving. This will elevate the dish and take it to the next level.
