Today I am excited to share a delicious and creamy pumpkin spice mousse recipe with you all. As we transition into the cozy autumn season, this dessert is the perfect way to indulge in the flavors of fall. With a light and airy texture and a warm spice blend, this mousse is sure to be a hit at any gathering or simply enjoyed at home after a long day.

Ingredients:

  • 200g canned pumpkin puree
  • 250ml heavy cream
  • 50ml maple syrup
  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 10g gelatin
  • 50ml water

Kitchen Tools:

  • hand mixer
  • ramekins

To start, in a small bowl, bloom the gelatin by sprinkling it over the water and letting it sit for 5 minutes. In a saucepan, heat the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice until warmed through. Remove from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.

In a separate mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pumpkin mixture until well combined. Divide the mousse into ramekins and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.

Once chilled and set, the pumpkin spice mousse is ready to be enjoyed! The mousse should have a light and velvety texture with a warm, comforting spice flavor. Serve garnished with a sprinkle of additional pumpkin pie spice for an extra touch.
