Hello, food lovers! Today, I’m excited to share a unique and delicious recipe for Cheesy Spinach Stuffed Chicken. This dish is perfect for a cozy night at home or a special dinner with loved ones. The combination of tender chicken, savory spinach, and gooey cheese is sure to impress your taste buds!

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 200g fresh spinach
  • 100g cream cheese
  • 50g mozzarella cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 15ml olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

  • meat mallet

To start, preheat your oven to 180°C. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat and transfer to a mixing bowl. Let it cool slightly before adding the cream cheese and mozzarella. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.

Next, prepare the chicken breasts by gently pounding them to an even thickness. Season with salt and pepper on both sides. Place a generous amount of the spinach and cheese mixture onto each chicken breast. Roll them up and secure with toothpicks.

Place the stuffed chicken breasts in a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

The total weight of the cooked dish is approximately 800g, with 4 servings. Each serving weighs around 200g. An estimate of the calorie count per serving is 300 calories.

One unique tip for this dish is to sprinkle some breadcrumbs on top of the stuffed chicken before baking for an extra crunch!
