Today, I’m sharing a recipe for Chocolate Caramel Dream Bars that are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth on a cozy evening at home. This dessert combines rich chocolate, gooey caramel, and a hint of sea salt for a truly indulgent treat.

Ingredients:

  • 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 150g butter
  • 200g caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 150g flour
  • 200g brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (180°C) and greasing a 9×9 inch baking pan. In a saucepan, melt the dark chocolate and butter together over low heat until smooth. Stir in the caramel sauce and sea salt until well combined.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until a thick batter forms. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly. Next, pour the chocolate caramel mixture over the batter in the pan. Finally, spoon the remaining batter on top of the chocolate caramel layer.

Bake the bars in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bars to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before slicing into squares.

These Chocolate Caramel Dream Bars weigh approximately 1200g when cooked and yield about 12 servings. Each serving is around 100g with an estimated calorie count of 350.
