The warm sun on my skin, the scent of blooming flowers in the air, and the taste of decadent tiramisu on my lips. Today, I am excited to share with you a unique twist on this classic dessert — my Heavenly Hazelnut Tiramisu.

For this indulgent treat, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 250ml strong espresso, cooled
  • 50ml hazelnut liqueur
  • 250g mascarpone cheese
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 100g sugar
  • 50g chopped hazelnuts
  • 200g ladyfingers
  • for dusting

To create this luscious dessert, you will need the following kitchen tools:

  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • spatula
  • square baking dish

Begin by whisking together the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and sugar until smooth and creamy. In a separate bowl, combine the cooled espresso with the hazelnut liqueur. Dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture, ensuring they are evenly soaked but not soggy.

Layer the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of your square baking dish, creating a solid base. Spread a generous layer of the mascarpone mixture on top of the ladyfingers, and sprinkle with a handful of chopped hazelnuts. Repeat this process with another layer of soaked ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and hazelnuts until you reach the top of the dish.

Finish off your Heavenly Hazelnut Tiramisu by dusting a light layer of cocoa powder over the top for a touch of elegance. Refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together and the dessert to set.

Once chilled, slice into squares and serve to your delighted guests. This recipe yields approximately 8 servings, with each serving weighing around 200g. One serving of this Heavenly Hazelnut Tiramisu is estimated to have around 350 calories.
