Today’s Dessert: Chocolate Avocado Mousse

As the weather starts to warm up, I find myself craving light and refreshing desserts. That’s why today, I’m excited to share with you my recipe for a decadent Chocolate Avocado Mousse. This creamy and indulgent treat is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth while also getting in some healthy fats from the avocado.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados (about 400g)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (60g)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (80ml)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk (60ml)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Fresh berries for topping

Kitchen Tools:

To start, scoop out the flesh of the ripe avocados and place them in a food processor. Add in the cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, coconut milk, and a pinch of sea salt. Blend everything together until you have a smooth and creamy mousse.

Once the mousse is well-combined, divide it into individual serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow it to set. When ready to serve, top the mousse with fresh berries for a pop of color and extra freshness.

This Chocolate Avocado Mousse is a total weight of approximately 600g, serving 4 people with each serving weighing around 150g. Each serving has an estimated calorie count of 250 calories.
