Chocolate-Spiced Pecan Crumble

Today, I’m excited to share a delicious and unique dessert recipe that combines rich chocolate, warm spices, and crunchy pecans. This decadent Chocolate-Spiced Pecan Crumble is perfect for cozy evenings at home or special gatherings with loved ones.

I love the combination of flavors in this dessert, especially during the fall and winter months. The aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove, mixed with the richness of dark chocolate, creates a truly indulgent treat that will delight your taste buds.

Ingredients:

  • 150g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 100g pecans
  • 75g all-purpose flour
  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp clove

Kitchen Tools:

  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • baking dish
  • saucepan
  • knife

Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (180°C) and greasing a baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.

In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and dark chocolate together, stirring constantly until smooth and well combined.

Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until you have a crumbly texture. Gently fold in the pecans, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Transfer the crumble mixture to the greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crisp.

Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. This Chocolate-Spiced Pecan Crumble is best enjoyed warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream on top.

This recipe makes approximately 6 servings, with each serving weighing around 120g. One serving of this delicious Chocolate-Spiced Pecan Crumble is estimated to be around 350 calories.

One tip to make this dessert even more decadent is to sprinkle a little sea salt over the top right before serving. The salt will enhance the flavors and add a delicious contrast to the sweetness of the crumble.

I hope you give this Chocolate-Spiced Pecan Crumble a try and enjoy the wonderful combination of flavors in this unique dessert. Feel free to play around with the spices or add different nuts to make it your own. Happy baking!
