Decadent Matcha Tiramisu

Today, I’m excited to share a unique and indulgent dessert recipe perfect for a special occasion or a cozy night in. This Decadent Matcha Tiramisu combines the earthy notes of matcha tea with the classic flavors of traditional tiramisu for a truly unforgettable treat.

Ingredients:

  • matcha powder (15g)
  • ladyfingers (200g)
  • cream cheese (250g)
  • whipping cream (200ml)
  • sugar (100g)
  • vanilla extract (10ml)
  • cold brew coffee (150ml)

Kitchen Tools:

  • mixing bowl
  • electric mixer
  • whisk
  • sifter
  • 8×8 inch dish

Start by sifting the matcha powder into a mixing bowl and whisking it with the sugar until well combined. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then gradually add the matcha-sugar mixture, mixing until fully incorporated. In another bowl, whip the cream with vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the matcha cream cheese mixture until no streaks remain.

Dip each ladyfinger into the cold brew coffee and layer them on the bottom of an 8×8 inch dish. Spread half of the matcha cream mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat another layer of dipped ladyfingers and finish with the remaining matcha cream mixture on top. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible.

When ready to serve, dust the top of the tiramisu with a bit of matcha powder for a beautiful finishing touch. Cut into squares and enjoy the rich, creamy flavors of this unique dessert.
