Today’s Unique Dessert Creation: Rosewater Pistachio Panna Cotta

As the days get warmer and flowers begin to bloom, I find myself craving light and refreshing desserts that capture the essence of spring. Today, I’m excited to share with you my latest creation: Rosewater Pistachio Panna Cotta. This delicate and floral dessert is perfect for any special occasion or simply as a sweet treat to enjoy on a sunny afternoon.

Ingredients:

  • 400ml heavy cream
  • 200ml milk
  • 100g sugar
  • 10g gelatin
  • 1 tbsp rosewater
  • 50g chopped pistachios

Kitchen Tools:

  • saucepan
  • whisk
  • ramekins
  • mixing bowls

To start, pour the heavy cream, milk, and sugar into a saucepan over low heat. Stir gently until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is just beginning to simmer. In a separate bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over a little bit of cold water and let it bloom for a few minutes. Once bloomed, add the gelatin to the cream mixture and continue stirring until fully dissolved.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the rosewater, infusing the panna cotta base with a delicate floral aroma. Divide the mixture evenly among ramekins and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.

While the panna cotta is setting, toast the chopped pistachios in a dry pan over low heat until fragrant and lightly golden. Let them cool before sprinkling them on top of the chilled panna cotta just before serving.

The result is a silky smooth panna cotta with a subtle hint of rosewater, topped with crunchy pistachios for a textural contrast. The floral notes and nutty flavors complement each other beautifully, creating a dessert that is both elegant and satisfying.

This Rosewater Pistachio Panna Cotta weighs approximately 800g once prepared and serves 4. Each serving is around 200g, with an estimated calorie count of 300 per portion.

Unique Tip:

For an extra special touch, try garnishing each serving with a few fresh edible flowers for a pop of color and an added touch of springtime freshness.

I hope you enjoy trying out this unique dessert recipe and feel inspired to get creative in your own kitchen. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different flavors and ingredients to make this recipe your own!
