Blackberry Balsamic Glazed Pork Chops

Today, I’m sharing a unique recipe for Blackberry Balsamic Glazed Pork Chops that is perfect for a special dinner at home. The sweet and tangy glaze perfectly complements the juicy pork chops, creating a dish that is sure to impress your taste buds.

Ingredients:

  • 4 pork chops (approx. 600g)
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries (approx. 150g)
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar (60ml)
  • 2 tbsp honey (30ml)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (30ml)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

To begin, season the pork chops with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the pork chops until browned on both sides, then transfer them to a plate. In the same skillet, add olive oil and garlic, cooking until fragrant.

Meanwhile, in a blender, puree the blackberries and strain the mixture to remove the seeds. Return the strained blackberry puree to the skillet, then add balsamic vinegar and honey. Let the glaze simmer until slightly thickened.

Return the seared pork chops to the skillet, coating them with the blackberry balsamic glaze. Cook until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) using a meat thermometer.

Serve the Blackberry Balsamic Glazed Pork Chops hot, drizzling extra glaze on top. This dish weighs approximately 800g in total, serving 4 people with each serving weighing around 200g. Each serving has an estimated calorie count of 350.
