Autumn Recipe: Apple Cider Glazed Pork Chops

Hey there, foodies! Today, I’m excited to share with you a delicious autumn-inspired recipe that will surely become a favorite at your dinner table. As the weather cools down and the leaves start to change, there’s nothing better than a hearty meal that warms you from the inside out. That’s why I decided to whip up these mouthwatering Apple Cider Glazed Pork Chops. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

Ingredients:

  • pork chops (4 chops)
  • apple cider (240ml)
  • maple syrup (60ml)
  • Dijon mustard (15g)
  • garlic powder (5g)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • olive oil (30ml)

Kitchen Tools:

  • skillet
  • tongs
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons
  • whisk

To start, season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, combine apple cider, maple syrup, and Dijon mustard. Whisk together until well combined. Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning the glaze over the top. Reduce the heat to low and let the chops simmer in the glaze for another 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Once the pork chops are glazed to perfection, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle any remaining glaze from the skillet over the chops for an extra burst of flavor.

This Apple Cider Glazed Pork Chops recipe serves 4 and each serving weighs approximately 200g. One serving is about 350 calories.

A unique tip for this recipe is to marinate the pork chops in the apple cider mixture for an hour before cooking to really infuse the flavors into the meat.

I hope you give this recipe a try and enjoy it as much as I do! Feel free to get creative with your own twist on it and make it your own. Happy cooking!
