Today, I’m excited to share my recipe for a crunchy caramel apple pie. This delicious twist on a classic dessert is perfect for enjoying on a cozy autumn evening or any time you’re craving a sweet treat with a bit of a crunchy twist.

Ingredients:

  • 3 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup of caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • 1/4 cup of cold butter, cubed
  • 1 pre-made pie crust

Kitchen Tools:

  • oven

Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, caramel sauce, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour. Toss everything together until the apples are evenly coated with the mixture.

Place the pie crust into your pie dish. Pour the apple mixture into the crust, spreading it out evenly. Dot the top of the apples with the cubed cold butter.

Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly. Let the pie cool for a few minutes before serving.

The total weight of the cooked pie is approximately 1200 grams, with 8 servings. Each serving weighs around 150 grams. An estimated calorie count per serving is 280 calories.
