  • 50g dark chocolate (chopped)
  • 10g chili powder
  • 5g cumin
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 20ml olive oil
  • 50g onion (diced)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 150ml chicken broth
  • 30g tomato paste
  • 150g cooked quinoa (for serving)

To start, heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant. Add diced chicken breast, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook until chicken is browned on all sides.

Next, add chopped dark chocolate, chicken broth, and tomato paste to the saucepan. Stir until the chocolate is melted and the sauce is well combined. Let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Once the sauce has thickened, remove from heat and serve the spicy chocolate chicken over cooked quinoa. The combination of flavors will surprise and delight your taste buds.
