Introducing: Maple Pecan Pumpkin Pie

Today, I’m excited to share with you a delicious fall dessert that combines the warm flavors of pumpkin and maple with the crunch of pecans. This recipe is perfect for cozy evenings at home or special gatherings with loved ones.

Ingredients:

  • 250g pumpkin puree
  • 100ml maple syrup
  • 100g chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 2 eggs
  • 150ml heavy cream
  • 1 pre-made pie crust

Kitchen Tools:

To start, preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, chopped pecans, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until smooth. Slowly pour this mixture into the pumpkin mixture, stirring continuously to create a smooth batter.

Place the pre-made pie crust into a pie dish, then pour the pumpkin batter over the crust. Smooth out the top with a spatula.

Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool before serving.

Once cooled, slice the Maple Pecan Pumpkin Pie into portions. Each serving weighs approximately 120g and has around 300 calories.

One unique tip for this recipe is to sprinkle a little extra chopped pecans on top of the pie just before serving for an added crunch and visual appeal.
