Dessert Recipe: Spiced Chocolate Hazelnut Tart

Today, I’m excited to share a special dessert recipe that combines rich chocolate with warm spices and crunchy hazelnuts. This tart is perfect for cozy evenings at home or as a sweet treat for a gathering with friends. The combination of flavors and textures is sure to impress your taste buds!

Ingredients:

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 150ml heavy cream
  • 100g butter
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 100g chopped hazelnuts
  • 1 pre-made pie crust

To start, preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add in the dark chocolate, heavy cream, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, stirring until smooth and well combined. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.

Meanwhile, press the pre-made pie crust into a pie dish, trimming any excess dough from the edges. Spread the chopped hazelnuts evenly over the bottom of the crust. Pour the chocolate mixture over the hazelnuts, making sure it covers the nuts completely.

Bake the tart in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the chocolate is set. Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature before serving. The tart can be served warm or at room temperature, depending on your preference.

This Spiced Chocolate Hazelnut Tart weighs approximately 700g after cooking and serves 8 people. Each serving weighs around 87.5g and contains an estimated 300 calories.
