Today I am excited to share a unique and flavorful recipe that combines the sweetness of peaches with the tanginess of goat cheese, all on top of a crispy crostini. This dish is perfect for a summer gathering or a weekend treat that will impress your guests with its unexpected combination of flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 1 baguette (250g)
  • 2 ripe peaches (300g)
  • 100g goat cheese
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
  • Handful of fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Pinch of salt

Kitchen Tools:

  • baking sheet

  • cutting board
  • small bowl
  • mixing spoon

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch rounds and place them on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 10 minutes until crispy.

While the crostini is baking, dice the peaches and place them in a small bowl. Add the honey, red chili flakes, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to combine.

Once the crostini is done, spread a generous amount of goat cheese on each piece. Top with the peach mixture and garnish with torn basil leaves.
