Introducing: Maple Bacon Pancake Donuts

Hey there, foodies! Today, I’m sharing a unique and indulgent breakfast recipe that combines all the best flavors of a classic breakfast spread into one delightful treat. These Maple Bacon Pancake Donuts are the perfect way to start your day with a little sweetness and a touch of savory goodness.

To make these delicious donuts, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 200g of all-purpose flour
  • 10g of baking powder
  • 5g of salt
  • 250ml of milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 50ml of maple syrup
  • 100g of bacon bits
  • 50g of butter
  • 50g of powdered sugar

To bring this recipe to life, you’ll need the following kitchen tools:

  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • donut pan
  • skillet
  • cooling rack

Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (180°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and maple syrup. Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

In a skillet, fry the bacon bits until crispy, then remove from heat and let them cool. Melt the butter and add it to the batter, along with the bacon bits. Stir until evenly distributed.

Grease your donut pan and spoon the batter into each well, filling them about two-thirds full. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the donuts comes out clean.

Once baked, remove the donuts from the oven and let them cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack. In the meantime, mix the powdered sugar with a splash of milk to create a glaze.

Dip each donut into the glaze, letting any excess drip off. Allow the glaze to set for a few minutes before serving. These Maple Bacon Pancake Donuts are best enjoyed warm and fresh!

This recipe yields approximately 12 donuts, with each serving weighing around 60g. One serving of these decadent donuts is estimated to have around 200 calories.

One unique tip to make these donuts even more delicious is to sprinkle some extra bacon bits on top of the glaze before it sets. This adds an extra crunch and burst of flavor that will take these donuts to the next level!

I hope you give these Maple Bacon Pancake Donuts a try and enjoy them as much as I do. Feel free to get creative with the toppings and make them your own. Happy cooking!
