Deliciously Decadent Double Chocolate Cheesecake

Hey there, foodies! Today, I’m sharing a recipe for a decadent double chocolate cheesecake that is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings. This rich and creamy dessert is perfect for a special occasion or just when you’re in the mood for something indulgent. Let’s get baking!

Ingredients:

  • 400g cream cheese
  • 200g sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200g dark chocolate, melted
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 200g digestive biscuits, crushed
  • 100g butter, melted
  • for topping

Kitchen Tools:

  • saucepan

To start, preheat your oven to 180°C. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed digestive biscuits with melted butter and press the mixture into the bottom of a greased springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes and set aside to cool.

In a saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate until smooth. In a separate mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until creamy. Gradually mix in the melted chocolate and cocoa powder until well combined.

Pour the chocolate cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust in the springform pan. Smooth out the top with a spatula and bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is just set. Allow the cheesecake to cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.

When ready to serve, top the cheesecake with a dollop of whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa powder. Slice into portions and enjoy the deliciously decadent double chocolate cheesecake!
