Indulgent Lavender Honey Cheesecake: A Recipe Like No Other

Unique Dessert Recipe: Lavender Honey Cheesecake

Today, I’m excited to share a one-of-a-kind dessert recipe that combines the floral notes of lavender with the sweetness of honey in a decadent cheesecake. This unique recipe is perfect for a special occasion or when you want to impress your guests with something they’ve never tried before.

Ingredients:

  • 450g cream cheese, softened
  • 200g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200g sour cream
  • 50g honey
  • 2 tbsp dried lavender
  • 100g butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 250g digestive biscuits, crushed

Kitchen Tools:

  • springform pan
  • saucepan
  • baking sheet

To start, preheat your oven to 160°C. In a saucepan, heat the honey and dried lavender over low heat for 5 minutes to infuse the flavors. Strain the mixture and let it cool.

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the sour cream, vanilla extract, and the cooled honey-lavender mixture.

Combine the crushed digestive biscuits with melted butter, then press the mixture into the bottom of a greased springform pan to form the crust. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust.

Place the springform pan on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set. Let the cheesecake cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.

Once chilled, remove the cheesecake from the pan and serve chilled, garnished with fresh lavender petals if desired.

This Lavender Honey Cheesecake weighs approximately 1400g, serves 8 people, with each serving weighing around 175g. Each serving is estimated to have around 450 calories.
