Cheesy Bacon-Stuffed Mushrooms

Today, I’m excited to share a delicious appetizer that’s perfect for a cozy night in or a fancy dinner party. These cheesy bacon-stuffed mushrooms are bursting with flavor and sure to impress your guests. Let’s dive into the recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 6 large mushrooms (about 300g)
  • 100g cream cheese
  • 4 slices of bacon (about 80g)
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 50g cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools:

  • knife
  • cutting board
  • baking sheet
  • mixing bowl
  • spoon

Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Place the mushrooms cap-side down on the baking sheet.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and chop it into small pieces. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, cheddar cheese, and chopped bacon. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.

Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each mushroom cap, pressing it down gently. Bake the stuffed mushrooms in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Once the mushrooms are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. These cheesy bacon-stuffed mushrooms are best enjoyed warm and gooey.

Complete the dish with a sprinkle of extra green onions for garnish and serve as a delightful appetizer.
