Hello, my lovely readers! Today, I’m excited to share with you my new creation: a Cheesy Pesto Pasta Bake. I was feeling inspired by the beautiful fall weather outside and wanted to create a comforting dish that combines the flavors of pesto and gooey melted cheese. I hope you enjoy this twist on a classic pasta dish!

Ingredients:

  • penne pasta (250g)
  • basil pesto (150g)
  • mozzarella cheese (200g)
  • parmesan cheese (50g)
  • cherry tomatoes (150g)
  • garlic (2 cloves)
  • olive oil (30ml)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Kitchen Tools:

  • pot
  • oven
  • baking dish
  • cheese grater
  • knife

To start, preheat your oven to 180°C. Boil the penne pasta in a pot of salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside. In a separate pan, sauté minced garlic in olive oil until fragrant. Add cherry tomatoes and cook until soft. Toss the cooked pasta with basil pesto, garlic, tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese in a baking dish.

Top the pasta mixture with grated parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
