Ingredients:

  • 100g Arborio rice
  • 500ml milk
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 star anise
  • Zest of 1 orange

Kitchen Tools:

  • saucepan
  • wooden spoon
  • grater

Start by combining the milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, star anise, and orange zest in a saucepan over medium heat. Let the mixture come to a gentle simmer, then add in the Arborio rice. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

Reduce the heat to low and let the rice pudding simmer gently, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Cook for about 30-35 minutes until the rice is tender and the mixture has thickened to a creamy consistency.
