Introduction

Today, I am excited to share a new recipe that I recently discovered. This unique dish combines unexpected flavors and textures to create a truly unforgettable culinary experience. I hope you enjoy trying it out as much as I did!

Ingredients

  • purple potatoes (500g)
  • black sesame seeds (50g)
  • orange blossom honey (100ml)
  • goat cheese (200g)
  • chili flakes (5g)
  • microgreens (50g)

Kitchen Tools

  • mandoline slicer
  • baking sheet
  • mixing bowl
  • small saucepan

Preparation

To begin, preheat your oven to 200°C. Using a mandoline slicer, thinly slice the purple potatoes and arrange them on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt before roasting in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until crispy.

In a small saucepan, toast the black sesame seeds over medium heat until fragrant, then add the orange blossom honey and stir until well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.

Once the potatoes are roasted, remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Crumble the goat cheese over the top and drizzle with the honey sesame mixture. Sprinkle with chili flakes for a bit of heat and top with fresh microgreens for a pop of color.

Tips

For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a splash of balsamic vinegar to the honey sesame mixture before drizzling over the dish. It adds a tangy kick that complements the sweetness of the honey beautifully.
