Today’s Mood-Boosting Snack: Nutty Banana Bites

Hi there, foodies! Today, I’m excited to share with you my latest creation – Nutty Banana Bites. This healthy snack is perfect for boosting your mood and satisfying your sweet cravings. Whether you need a quick pick-me-up during a busy day or a guilt-free dessert option, these bites are sure to hit the spot.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 2 tbsp cacao nibs

Kitchen Tools:

  • cutting board
  • knife
  • small bowl
  • fork
  • baking sheet

Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (180°C) and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. Peel the bananas and cut them into 1-inch slices. In a small bowl, combine the almond butter and chia seeds, mixing until well combined.

Using a fork, dip each banana slice into the almond butter mixture, coating it on all sides. Place the coated banana slice on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat this process for all banana slices. Sprinkle the coconut flakes and cacao nibs on top of the banana slices.

Bake the Nutty Banana Bites in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bananas are soft and slightly caramelized. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

These Nutty Banana Bites weigh approximately 300 grams in total and make 4 servings. Each serving is about 75 grams and contains around 150 calories.

Tip:

For an extra crunch, try adding a sprinkle of crushed almonds on top of the banana slices before baking. It adds a delicious nutty flavor and texture to the bites.
