– 1 baguette (250g), sliced
– 2 ripe pears (300g), thinly sliced
– 100g blue cheese, crumbled
– 1/4 cup honey (60ml)
– 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (30g)
– Fresh thyme leaves for garnish

To start, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the baguette slices on the baking sheet and toast in the oven until crisp and golden, about 8-10 minutes.

In a mixing bowl, gently toss the pear slices with the blue cheese crumbles. Once the baguette slices are toasted, top each one with a spoonful of the pear and blue cheese mixture. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.

Return the crostini to the oven for another 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh thyme leaves.
