Today’s Creation: Spicy Honey Sriracha Meatballs

As the weather starts to cool down, I find myself craving comforting, flavorful dishes. Today, I’m excited to share my latest creation with you – Spicy Honey Sriracha Meatballs. The perfect balance of sweet and spicy, these meatballs are sure to warm you up on a chilly day.

I start by combining ground beef (200g), breadcrumbs (50g), finely chopped onion (30g), minced garlic (10g), chopped cilantro (10g), and a beaten egg in a large mixing bowl. I season the mixture with salt, pepper, cumin, and paprika for a flavorful kick. Using my hands, I gently mix everything together until well combined.

Next, I roll the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. In a saucepan over medium heat, I combine honey (60ml) and sriracha sauce (30ml) for a spicy-sweet glaze. Once the glaze is simmering, I add the meatballs to the pan, ensuring they are coated in the sauce.

I let the meatballs simmer in the sauce for about 15 minutes, allowing them to soak up all the delicious flavors. The aroma of the honey and sriracha fills the kitchen, making my mouth water in anticipation.

After the meatballs have cooked through and the glaze has thickened slightly, I remove them from the heat. I serve the Spicy Honey Sriracha Meatballs hot, garnished with chopped green onions for a fresh burst of flavor.
