Unique Spicy Mango Beef Stir-Fry

Today, I’m excited to share a dish that combines the sweetness of mango with the bold flavors of spicy beef stir-fry. This recipe is perfect for those looking to add a twist to their usual stir-fry routine or simply want to try something new and exciting in the kitchen.

Ingredients:

  • beef strips (200g)
  • 1 ripe mango, cubed
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 red chili, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools:

  • wok
  • chef’s knife
  • cutting board
  • spatula

To start, heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and chili, and sauté for a minute until fragrant. Next, add beef strips and stir-fry until browned and cooked through.

Once the beef is cooked, add sliced onions and bell peppers to the wok. Stir-fry for a few minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened. Then, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and honey to the wok, mixing well to coat the beef and vegetables.

Finally, add the cubed mango to the wok and gently toss everything together. Let the mango cook for a minute or so until it’s slightly heated through but still retains its freshness. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Clever Tip:

For an extra kick of heat, you can add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to the stir-fry before serving. This will elevate the dish’s spiciness without overpowering the sweet mango flavor.

The total weight of the cooked dish is approximately 800g, with 4 servings at around 200g each. Each serving is estimated to be around 350 calories.
