Today’s Recipe: Spicy Pineapple Beef Stir-Fry

Hey there, foodies! Today, I’m excited to share with you a flavorful and exotic dish that’s perfect for spicing up your weeknight dinner routine. This Spicy Pineapple Beef Stir-Fry is a unique combination of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors that will tantalize your taste buds. Let’s get cooking!

Ingredients:

  • beef sirloin (400g, thinly sliced)
  • pineapple (1/2 medium, cubed)
  • red bell pepper (1, sliced)
  • onion (1, sliced)
  • garlic (3 cloves, minced)
  • ginger (1-inch piece, minced)
  • soy sauce (3 tbsp)
  • sriracha sauce (2 tbsp)
  • brown sugar (2 tbsp)
  • cornstarch (1 tbsp)
  • water (1/4 cup)
  • sesame oil (2 tbsp)
  • vegetable oil (2 tbsp)
  • salt (to taste)
  • black pepper (to taste)

Kitchen Tools:

  • wok
  • chef’s knife
  • cutting board
  • garlic press
  • measuring spoons
  • whisk

To start, heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, stirring until fragrant. Toss in the sliced beef sirloin and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the wok and set it aside.

In the same wok, add sesame oil and sauté the sliced onion and red bell pepper until they start to soften. Return the cooked beef to the wok, along with the cubed pineapple.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sriracha sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, water, salt, and black pepper. Pour this sauce over the beef and vegetables in the wok, stirring well to coat everything evenly. Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.

Tips for a Flavorful Dish:

For an extra kick of heat, add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes to the stir-fry. It’ll take the spiciness to the next level!

Once everything is cooked through and the sauce has thickened to your liking, your Spicy Pineapple Beef Stir-Fry is ready to serve. This dish weighs approximately 1200g after cooking and serves 4 people. Each serving is around 300g and provides a burst of around 400 calories.

I hope you give this recipe a try and enjoy experimenting with different variations to make it your own. Happy cooking!
