Deliciously Spicy Pineapple Turkey Bake

Hey foodies! Today, I’m excited to share a recipe that I absolutely love making during the fall season. This dish is inspired by the warm and comforting flavors of Thanksgiving, with a unique twist that gives it a surprising kick. Perfect for a cozy dinner at home or to impress guests at a gathering.

Ingredients:

  • ground turkey (500g)
  • pineapple chunks (200g)
  • jalapeños, sliced (2)
  • bell peppers, diced (2)
  • onion, chopped (1)
  • garlic, minced (3 cloves)
  • ginger, grated (1 tbsp)
  • soy sauce (50ml)
  • sriracha sauce (2 tbsp)
  • brown sugar (2 tbsp)
  • cornstarch (1 tbsp)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools:

  • baking dish
  • skillet
  • mixing bowl
  • chef’s knife
  • cutting board
  • wooden spoon

I start by preheating my oven to 375°F. In a skillet over medium heat, I brown the ground turkey with the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger until the meat is cooked through. Then, I add in the diced bell peppers, jalapeños, and pineapple chunks, letting them cook for a few minutes to soften.

In a mixing bowl, I combine the soy sauce, sriracha sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch to create a spicy and sweet glaze. I pour this mixture over the turkey and vegetable mixture in the skillet, stirring until everything is well coated and the sauce has thickened slightly. I season with salt and pepper to taste.

Next, I transfer the entire mixture into a baking dish and bake it in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly. The aroma of the pineapple and spices filling the kitchen is simply irresistible!

Once done, I take the dish out of the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. The combination of the juicy pineapple, flavorful turkey, and spicy kick from the jalapeños is a true explosion of taste in every bite.

One tip to make this dish even more flavorful is to sprinkle some toasted coconut flakes on top before serving. It adds a crunchy texture and a hint of nuttiness that complements the richness of the dish perfectly.

I encourage you to try this Deliciously Spicy Pineapple Turkey Bake recipe and make it your own by adjusting the spice level or adding your favorite veggies. Enjoy!
