The Ultimate Sweet and Savory Fusion: Pistachio and Strawberry Stuffed Pork

July 7, 2025 Written by Olivia

Today, I am excited to share a unique and flavorful dish that combines elements of both sweet and savory: Pistachio and Strawberry Stuffed Pork Tenderloin. This recipe is perfect for a special occasion dinner or when you want to impress your guests with a creative culinary creation.

To start, you’ll need the following ingredients:
– 500g pork tenderloin
– 100g shelled pistachios
– 150g fresh strawberries
– 1 tablespoon honey
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoons olive oil

For this recipe, you’ll need the following kitchen tools:

  • chef’s knife
  • cutting board
  • meat mallet
  • food processor
  • skillet

Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Using a chef’s knife, butterfly the pork tenderloin by slicing it lengthwise, but not all the way through. Lay the tenderloin flat on a cutting board and cover it with a piece of plastic wrap. Use a meat mallet to pound the tenderloin to an even thickness.

In a food processor, pulse the pistachios until finely chopped. Remove the pistachios from the food processor and set aside. Next, add the strawberries to the food processor and blend until they form a puree.

Spread the strawberry puree over the butterflied pork tenderloin and sprinkle the chopped pistachios on top. Drizzle the honey over the pistachios and season with salt and pepper. Carefully roll up the pork tenderloin and secure it with kitchen twine.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the stuffed pork tenderloin on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast the pork for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

Once the pork is cooked through, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve the Pistachio and Strawberry Stuffed Pork Tenderloin with your favorite side dishes and enjoy the unique combination of flavors in every bite.

The approximate total weight of the cooked dish is 800g, with 4 servings at 200g each. Each serving is approximately 350 calories.

One clever tip for this recipe is to brush the outside of the pork tenderloin with a mixture of honey and olive oil before roasting. This will create a beautiful glaze and enhance the overall flavor of the dish.

I encourage you to give this Pistachio and Strawberry Stuffed Pork Tenderloin a try and make it your own by adding your favorite herbs or spices to the filling. Enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and creating delicious meals for your loved ones!
