Refreshing Mango Coconut Sorbet Recipe

Today, I’m excited to share a delightful dessert perfect for hot summer days – my refreshing mango coconut sorbet. This unique combination of tropical flavors is sure to transport you to a sunny beach with each bite.

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium ripe mangoes (450g)
  • 1 can coconut milk (400ml)
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • Toasted coconut flakes, for garnish

Kitchen Tools:

  • blender
  • ice cream maker
  • spatula

To start, place the diced mangoes, coconut milk, lime juice, and honey in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy, ensuring there are no lumps.

Next, transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, typically for about 25-30 minutes. The sorbet should be smooth and have a soft, scoopable texture when done.

Once the sorbet is ready, transfer it to a container and freeze for an additional 2-3 hours to firm up.

To serve, scoop the mango coconut sorbet into bowls and garnish with toasted coconut flakes for an extra crunch and tropical flavor.

This mango coconut sorbet serves 6 and weighs approximately 800g once frozen. Each serving is around 133g with an estimated 180 calories per serving.

One unusual tip for this recipe is to add a splash of rum to the mixture before churning to give it a boozy kick and enhance the tropical flavors even more.
