Tropical Delight: Passionfruit Mango Mousse Recipe

Passionfruit Mango Mousse

Today, I’m excited to share my recipe for a decadent and exotic Passionfruit Mango Mousse. This dessert is perfect for a special occasion or simply to indulge your sweet cravings with a tropical twist.

Ingredients

  • 200g fresh mango, peeled and cubed
  • 100g passionfruit pulp
  • 300ml heavy cream
  • 50g granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 packet gelatin powder

Kitchen Tools

  • ramekins

Start by pureeing the fresh mango in a blender until smooth. In a saucepan, heat the passionfruit pulp over low heat and stir in the gelatin powder until fully dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Gently fold in the mango puree and passionfruit mixture until well combined.

Divide the mousse mixture into ramekins and refrigerate for at least 3 hours to set. Serve chilled, garnished with additional mango slices or passionfruit pulp if desired.

This recipe yields approximately 600g of Passionfruit Mango Mousse, enough for 4 servings. Each serving is around 150g and contains approximately 250 calories.

One unique tip for this recipe is to add a splash of rum or coconut milk to the mousse mixture for an extra layer of flavor and depth.
